of birthdays.i went to mckl for awhile.to shout happy birthday to david.yup.just for that.my dad called me a kepo.im not sure how tht is suppose to make any sense but it does.kind of.well i had to go out.celebrate the cancellation of economics lecture.and yeah.just because.david had some funky shoes on today.i havent decided whether its the good funky or bad funky.hmm...

speaking of reasons.i have been cramming my head with sociology.on globalization in terms of economics, politics and culture.now as i read on the culture part.it kept me thinking.eh?why these sociologists think so much wan!like.(i wrote a whole paragraph that didnt make any sense, so i guess i cant explain why i think some sociologists really think too much) i guess i can say it's interesting to study something that has always been there.and when you begin to learn about it,it's like you have a new perspective of what has been always around you.but really.only to a certain extent.

they even go to a point where they mention that after second world war, television was hailed and feared as a powerful medium and great potential to affect the minds of those consuming its contents.haha!so funny rite!and there is this quote that made me laugh so hard."the world sings a hymn of harmony to a soft drink of doubtful nutritional value" -M.Waters, Globalization

back to the topic of birthdays.this year so far.i got to celebrate jien's and carmen's.and now it's my turn to turn 21.david did today.so mahhh turrnnnn.it's a pity some of my friends are not here.like shan.ruby.yeah you!guess you dont get to eat my parents food this time around.awww...=)
